FCA "Light the Night 5K Run/Walk"
The Shiner High FCA is sponsoring the "Light the Night 5K Run/Walk" on Saturday, March 3 at 7pm. The course will begin at Comanche Stadium, and the entry fee is $25.00 ($20 if you register before February 24). Register early to guarantee your t-shirt! Awards will be given to the top three males & females in each category!
Proceeds will benefit two very worthy causes:
- Camp Kesem — a summer camp for kids who's parents have or have had cancer. Completely run by college students all over the United States, Camp Kesem provides an opportunity for kids 6 - 13 to "just be kids" at their week long summer camps.
- Turn on the Tap — an initiative of Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization, Turn on the Tap strives ot provide clean water and water purification equipment to those who need it around the world.
