Shiner ISD Needs Assessment Survey
Shiner ISD is conducting a comprehensive needs assessment for our district.  Included in this assessment are questions regarding educational opportunities, teaching, school climate, social behavior, facilities, technology, and extra curricular activities. Information provided will be used to plan district and campus improvement.

It is important to provide your honest and serious input to help us better create district and campus improvement plans.  If you are a parent with children in both schools, please complete both parent surveys. Please provide your responses by Thursday, June 14.

Thank you for your cooperation and input in helping improve our district!

If your child doesn't attend Shiner ISD schools, or if you live and work in the community, we'd love to hear from you too!
Community Member Survey

In order to better serve our students, we have developed a five-year District of Innovation Plan that allows the board and administration to better provide lasting outcomes for our students, parents, and community. For more info, see these resources from the Texas Education Agency and from the Texas Association of School Boards.

Pre-K and Elementary registration for the 2018-2019 school year has begun. If you plan to register your child, please be sure to bring the following: proof of residency, immunization records, Social Security card, and birth certificate

Important Information about the FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid)
Students that plan to continue their education after graduation are required to fill out the FASFA in order to qualify for grants, loans and many scholarships (including the Wolters Scholarship). In order to ensure that your child qualifies for financial aid, it is suggested that you complete your tax forms as early as possible (late January/early February) so that you can then complete the FASFA with your child. It is the responsibility of students & parents to complete the FASFA and submit it on time.
Important Information about Scholarships
Every senior will receive a packet that contains scholarship applications and other important information. Students are required to sign upon receipt of this packet. It is the responsibility of the student to complete and mail or otherwise submit any and all scholarship applications.
