Activities:

This year the FCA is once again participating in the "Operation Christmas Child". We would like for volunteers to help out. You will put together enough small gifts such as school supplies, toys, and toiletries to fill a shoe box. Bring everything to school and Mrs. Migl will give you a shoe box to put your gifts in. You may also use your own shoe box or a plastic reusable container. If you wrap it, wrap the lid separately so that it can be accessed. If you can't put together a whole shoebox, bring a small gift and the members will put together a box with those donations. The last day to turn in a shoe box is Friday, November 18th. FCA will cover the $7 shipping charge. If you would like to participate, pick up a brochure from Mrs. Migl. These gifts are sent to children all over the world. In most cases, this will be the only gift that child recieves.

The SHS FCA participates in many activities over the course of the year. FCA members collect and donate Christmas presents, food, and other items for those in need, sponsor a local Fields of Faith event for the community, participate in the annual Pancake Supper fundraiser, and also make a trip every year to a Texas A&M football game.
In 2011, the FCA partnered with the Junior High School Student Council to sponsor Hat Day, a fundraiser for Camp Kesem, a summer camp for the children of parents who have or have had cancer.

What is Fields of Faith?

Fields of Faith is a student-to-student event inthe month of October. Peers invite their own classmates and teammates to meet on their school's athletic field to hear fellow students share their faith testimonies. Fields of Faith is held annually at Comanche Stadium, and the 2011 Fields of Faith was the most successful yet!
